We support efforts to improve the reproductive health of migrant women and the health literacy of the women and their children. We facilitate access to information and knowledge on pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. It also enables expectant mothers to prepare their bodies for birth with tailored physical exercises.
Our classes are easily accessible and delivered as low cost as possible.
The association is exclusively charitable and non-commercial.
Mamamundo also works on a mandate basis, for example providing coaching to those who wish to set up new birth-preparation programmes in other regions; this work is financed by the Swiss foundation for the Promotion of Health.
